Street market
Every Saturday from 8, 00 to 13, 00, at the square in Alaró, there is a traditional market where you can buy Mallorcan sausages and other type of cold meat, apart from other products like local fruit and vegetables. The beautiful location of the market outstands, placed next to the church, the townhall and the oldest backery in Alaró. This bakery, called Ca Na Juanita, is also one of the oldest in Mallorca. The bakery’s specialty is the Mallorcan ensaimada. Also, very close to the church square (Carrer del Mig) there is a traditional bakery called Ca Na Joanaineta whose specialty is ensaimada with cream.

Beaches
Half an hour from the Northern East beaches of Alcúdia, Pollença and Platges de Muro.
Playa de Muro is the largest sand beach on Mallorca and includes four sections that in total cover nearly six kilometres. Located close to the town of Muro, near Port Alcúdia, on the Northern coast of the island, each of the four beaches that make-up Playa de Muro are white sand, some with sand dunes. Playa de Muro is a perfect beach for all ages groups and caters to tourists and locals alike. It is a very popular beach for families because of its easy access, restaurants, onsite facilities, kid-focused activities.
Christmas market.
At the centre of the square, an enormous Christmas tree made from wood stood tall and made this particular market stand out from the crowd. Around this masterpiece, more than 60 stalls embroidered the area and provided a wonderful opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts from local and international designers and artisans
There will also be drinks and food trucks, as well as live music and activities for children.

The organ mornings
Every Saturdays of the year, the church of Saint Bartholomew in Alaró is the scene for this cycle of organ concerts that are developed under the artistic direction of Miquel Bennàssar. They are held in the morning, to coincide with the weekly market in Alaró.
They are organized by Associació Matins de l'Orgue d'Alaró and sponsored by the Culture Committee of the City Council Alaró.
